Same Corrupt Bible

In the Garden of Eden, Satan convinced Eve to alter the very words of God. Unfortunately, he has now found some new and very willing accomplices in the publishing houses and seminaries. Through the modern versions, men's thoughts have been replacing God's words at an alarming rate. Sadly, even the Southern Baptists have created their own version of the Bible.

The fact that the Holman Christian Standard Bible ® originates from the same corrupt Greek and Hebrew manuscripts is the Jehovah's Witnesses' New World Translation (NWT) makes every dedicated Southern Baptist cringe.

The sampling of errors contained herein prove that the HCSB ® produced by the Southern Baptist hierarchy, much like the NWT, produced by the Jehovah's Witnesses undermines the deity of Jesus Christ, salvation by grace and many other key Bible doctrines.

Salvation by grace is diminished by the Southern Baptist and Jehovah's Witnesses' versions. Among many other problems, both eliminate the single reference to Calvary while teaching that salvation takes place over time and is difficult to attain.

~Salvation Over Time?~

(KGB) 1 Corinthians 1:18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

The book of Revelation correctly identifies Jesus as the morning star; and the book of Isaiah (KJB) identifies Lucifer as the fallen angel. Look at the One the HCSB ® blasphemously cites as having fallen from heaven. It is not Lucifer but Jesus Christ, the morning star of Revelation chapter 22, above!

~Christ Came in the Flesh~

~Christ Became the Son?~

Acts chapter 13 refers to Christ's resurrection, when He became the first-begotten from the dead. There never was a time when Christ was not the eternal Son of God. You can prove this by looking at the book of Daniel where He is addressed as the Son of God before His becoming a man on this earth.

(KJB) Daniel 3:25 He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.

The HCSB ® compounds the error by making Christ, God's ONLY son. The HCSB ® repeatedly refers to Christ as “the One and Only Son” and not “the only begotten Son” as in the King James Bible (See John 1:14, 1:18, and 3:16). If Christ is God's ONLY son, are Christians no longer His sons?

~Christ was Created?~

(KJB) Micah 5:2 But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from old, from everlasting.

Both the Holman CSB ® and the NWT attribute an origin to Christ. If Christ is a created being He would have an origin! Jesus is the eternal, only begotten Son of God. The Bible points this out in John 4:9: “In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.” He sent Him, NOT created Him!

~Christ No Longer Judge!~

(KJB) Romans 14:10 But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.

The King James Bible clearly points out that Jesus is God the Son and He has a heavenly Father! This verse indisputably proves Christ's deity — He is God! Both the HCSB ® and the NWT make Jesus have a God by referring to HIS God. This verse is used by Jehovah's Witnesses to teach that Jesus was a lesser created god. Regrettably, both the Holman CSB ® and the NWT can be used to teach this same blasphemy.

~Christ No Longer Creator?~

Only God manifest in the flesh could satisfy the righteous requirements of the Law. God Himself became the sacrificial Lamb. Satan knows that he must destroy this truth.

~The Lost go to Tatarus?~

Despite the immense doctrinal variations between the King James Bible and all of the updated bibles, many of the modern version supporters fail to admit the problems associated with these differences. Most people do not realize the extent to which the changes align every modern version with the Christ rejecting Jehovah's Witness New World Translation (NWT). The Southern Baptist hierarchy should know better. It is up to you to do something about it!
